All information related to
your credit dealings are reported in the credit report.
It includes – inquiries by your credit grantors;
collections-when your creditor turns down a bad check to
a collection agency; court records that comprise of
bankruptcies, judgments, etc. Other than these factors,
any merchant trade lines such as late payments, charged
offs and repossessions are all reported by the credit
bureau in the credit report. And, they remain in the
credit report for at least seven years, except for
bankruptcy that remains in the credit report for ten
years and inquiries for 24 months. |
